Volume is how many shares changed hands. A price move on high volume has conviction (many participants agree); the same move on thin volume is suspect and often reverses. That's why a breakout is only trusted when volume expands.
वॉल्यूम यानी कितने शेयरों का लेन-देन हुआ। ऊँचे वॉल्यूम पर आई चाल में दम होता है (कई लोग सहमत हैं); कम वॉल्यूम पर वही चाल संदिग्ध है और अक्सर पलट जाती है। इसीलिए ब्रेकआउट तभी भरोसेमंद माना जाता है जब वॉल्यूम बढ़े।
